Eva Longoria Parker has denied reports that she’s set to quit her role on television’s ‘Desperate Housewives‘ to chase a career on the big screen. Longoria Parker shot to fame playing the wealthy Gabriel Solis in the hit tv show and has successfully made the transition into movies starring in ‘The Sentinel‘ alongside Kiefer Sutherland.

The 33-year-old denies she’s leaving the show telling Britain’s Heat magazine that,

“I would be insane to do that. I’m of the opinion that the show will still be running for another five years, at least.”

She adds, “Marc Cherry (the creator of ‘Desperate Housewives’) has all these incredible ideas and plot twists planned for the coming years, and I’m convinced the show will be a success as long as he’s involved.“

Victoria Beckham has had to release a statement declaring she is still friends with Katie Holmes.
The pair, who were joined at the hip following Victoria’s move to the US, fuelled speculation of a disagreement last month amid reports they were not talking. US reports claimed the pair ignored each other while eating at the same restaurant recently but Victoria has denied the rumour. The 33-year-old hit back at critics today by releasing a statement through her spokesman. They said: “They all had a drink together, Tom and Katie and David and Victoria were all out for dinner together last Friday.” Victoria enjoyed her birthday dinner with pals Eva Longoria Parker and Kate Beckinsale but Katie was noticeably absent from the evening.
