“Desperate Housewives” Star Eva Longoria was seen in Las Vegas this weekend partying with friends at the yellow tail opening event inside the Bellagio Casino on Labor Day weekend.

“Housewives” star Eva Longoria helped singer Sheryl Crow avoid the paparazzi at the opening of her new Hollywood restaurant Beso by offering the reporters gathered outside free tacos. Crow wanted to attend the event only if she would be left alone by the press. So Longoria distracted the photographers as Crow sneaked in from the back.
Last week Eva Longoria fueled break up rumors when she was photographed without her infamous “VII VII MMVII” tattoo. Longoria’s rep wants to set the record straight about the mysterious disappearance of the tattoo. Her rep Rachel Krautkremer says, “The tattoo is not removed. She has to cover it for the show (Desperate Housewives) every day, so the make-up must have still been on her wrist.”
Eva Longoria fooled photographers into thinking she was having a relationship with Mario Lopez on a new US show. The Desperate Housewives star played the prank on the paparazzi on �Pop Fiction�, the latest vehicle from �Punk�d� producer Ashton Kutcher. The pair went shopping together in LA, and were spotted by photographers, hanging out.
In the same week, the pair shared an intimate lunch, where Mario presented Longoria with a Cartier necklace in front of a horde of photographers who believed that the Lopez and Longoria were an item.

If there were this many paps when Eva left the Ken Paves Salon in LA, can you imagine the scrum if she’d done a Britney and shaved her bonce? To me, this picture illustrates the true horror of fame. What if she’d had the kind of cut where she’d wanted to go home, cry and curse the hairdresser? And instead her new image is shooting around cyberspace. Although being the PA / best friend might be even worse. Pink lady friend looks like she should be on her way into the salon with her scraped back greasy locks and yet she still has to suffer the flashing bulbs. Still, she’s just a civilian, so who cares? Back to Eva: she’s already admitted she’s on a mission to shed some weight after getting lazy and lardy (yeah, right) during the writers’ strike, and now that filming for Desperate Housewives has resumed she’s clearly decided she needs to do something about her ‘do’ too. She’s obviously read about the importance of wearing the right outfit to the hairdressers so your stylist can give you the appropriate cut. And doesn’t that mustard jacket go very nicely with her glamorous curls? However, I have a sneaking suspicion that mustard jacket or no mustard jacket, the stylist wouldn’t have given her a number two all over (a la umbrella wielding Britters).
