Former ‘Spice Girl’ Victoria Beckham is starting a club business in collaboration with ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Eva Longoria Parker. The pair, who are close friends, are said to be planning a fancy new club in Las Vegas.

According to Contactmusic, the club will incorporate Longoria Parker’s restaurant Beso, and a high-rollers casino. Meanwhile, Posh’s representatives have denied that she is set to star in ‘High School Musical 3: Senior Year’. Her spokesperson insists that she has not been offered a role in the film.

“She has not been approached, but the Beckham boys are big fans of High School Musical,” Contactmusic quoted the representative, as saying. (ANI)

Victoria Beckham is reportedly hoping that Eva Longoria-Parker’s cooking will help her get pregnant. The WAG, who was rumoured to have subsided on just edamame beans, seaweed protein shakes and strawberries during the Spice Girls reunion tour, is said to actually trying to gain rather than lose weight for once as she is worried her super-thin physique may be affecting her fertility.

A source close the Beckhams told the Daily Mail: “Victoria has been a lot less fastidious about her weight recently. She and David are desperate to conceive and she knows she needs to put on a bit of weight in order to do so. She’s bumping up on the calories.

“Eva is Victoria’s closest friend in Los Angeles and she and David have been round to Eva’s for dinner on many occasions. Eva is proud of her Mexican heritage and considers herself an excellent cook (…) Victoria is a vegetarian and she flipped out over Eva’s cheese enchiladas. They are made with home-made corn tortillas and are very tasty, but hardly low-calorie (…) Eva serves them with rice and refried beans. Each serving is two enchiladas and she told me she was amazed because Victoria always eats at least one.”

The source added that Victoria has even asked for the recipe so she can “make them for her boys” at home. Victoria is also said to be eating a cupcake a day after friend Heidi Klum bought her a year’s supply for her birthday in April.

Victoria Beckham has had to release a statement declaring she is still friends with Katie Holmes.
The pair, who were joined at the hip following Victoria’s move to the US, fuelled speculation of a disagreement last month amid reports they were not talking. US reports claimed the pair ignored each other while eating at the same restaurant recently but Victoria has denied the rumour. The 33-year-old hit back at critics today by releasing a statement through her spokesman. They said: “They all had a drink together, Tom and Katie and David and Victoria were all out for dinner together last Friday.” Victoria enjoyed her birthday dinner with pals Eva Longoria Parker and Kate Beckinsale but Katie was noticeably absent from the evening. When Elton John calls, the celebs come running.

Sir Elton and his partner, David Furnish, along with British GQ Editor-in-Chief Dylan Jones and Alfred Dunhill menswear line, cohosted a party last night honoring British actors in Hollywood. Who did I see? David and Victoria Beckham, and her director hubby Len Wiseman and Eva Longoria all arrived together. They stayed for about an hour before heading off for dinner at Longoria’s new Beso restaurant in Hollywood.

Oh, and you can probably forget those tabloid tales suggesting Beckinsale and Wiseman have hit a rough patch in their marriage. They couldn’t have been more lovey-dovey! Also on hand was Sharon Osbourne, Fantastic Four’s Welsh hottie Ioan Gruffudd, original supermodel Cheryl Tiegs and lovebirds Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger.

James Blunt was also there. Someone get him some soap and a hairbrush, pronto! Love his music, but he could have cleaned up just a little bit for the soirée. One gal who didn’t seem to mind though was So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley. She and Blunt spent mucho time chatting by themselves.

Posh has some girly company while David’s away. Victoria Beckham invited girl pals Eva Longoria and Heidi Klum to son Brooklyn’s birthday bash yesterday.

The 9-year-old was treated to a meal at Pink Taco in LA followed by a screening of the Spiderwick Chronicles, report Us Weekly. Dad David, 32, couldn’t make it because he’s away touring with LA Galaxy in China but fans in Shanghai held up a ‘Happy Birthday, Brooklyn’ banner. Victoria, 33, is rumoured to be pregnant with her fourth child. She and Becks would love a daughter as a sibling to Brooklyn, Romeo, 5, and 3-year-old Cruz.
