Mario Lopez says his good friend Eva Longoria laughs at the constant pregnancy rumors that surround her and husband Tony Parker. The 33-year-old Desperate Housewives star sparked the latest round of pregnancy rumors after she was spotted wearing a flowing top that hid an apparent baby bump.

“We get a laugh out of it. She’s really cool. She just takes everything as it comes,” Lopez says of Longoria. “She doesn’t [read about herself], but I think people tell her – and she gets a kick out of it. She’s very calm and very secure. She knows people are always going to [talk]. That stuff doesn’t bother her.“

Eva Longoria has complained about being asked to provide constant comments on her relationship with Tony Parker. The Desperate Housewives star admitted that she has been plagued by baby rumours ever since she married Parker in July 2007.

“There’s always something people are asking you,” Eva told the Daily Mail. “When you’re dating someone, it’s, ‘When are you going to get married?’ Then you get married and it’s, ‘When’s the baby?’ Then you have a baby and it’s, ‘When’s the divorce?’ So I guess I should count myself lucky we’re still at the ‘When’s the baby?’ stage.“

She added: “We both want lots of children. We believe that, when the time is right to have a child, then God will bless us with one.“

Longoria has recently been trying to gain weight for her Housewives role. Producers want the star’s character Gabby Solis to have a fuller figure in the forthcoming fifth season.

Eva Longoria Parker is looking forward to having a family with her husband of one year, Tony Parker — just not right now.

“Not in nine months,” the actress told Access Hollywood’s Billy Bush in a new interview for “The Billy Bush Show.” “I can guarantee you a baby will not be here in nine months. Longer than that, maybe. We’re definitely wanting a family and when it happens, it’ll happen, but it’s no rush and there’s no timeline that we’ve set for ourselves.”

Bloggers speculated Eva was with child after she was pictured with a less-than-perfectly-flat tummy while on vacation with her husband last week. During her call with Billy, Eva explained her figure was the result of celebration.

“I was busy celebrating my one-year anniversary,” Eva told Billy. “It was great. We ate and ate, and drank wine. We just kind of lived European.”

Eva also took the opportunity during their chat, scheduled to air on Billy’s show Monday evening, to explain her short crop. Though it looks similar to a cut her pal Victoria Beckham recently sported, Eva actually cropped her locks for her role in “Desperate Housewives.”

“I had to cut my hair for Gabrielle because she’s a mom now and so she’s cut her hair,” Eva said. “She’s really simple, she has no makeup, she’s frumpy, and so I cut my hair.”

Eva Longoria Parker has laughed off rumours she is pregnant, insisting her recent weight gain is for her role in TV series Desperate Housewives. The actress claims her new bob-style haircut and slightly fuller figure are a reflection of changes in the life of her on-screen character Gabrielle Solis, who becomes a mother-of-two in the forthcoming fifth season.

The star’s representative, Liza Anderson, tells People.com, “She’s a worn out mother with two kids. And even that (the weight gain) was not enough. She’s also wearing butt pads and a stomach pad to play the part.”

Longoria Parker, 33, has been dodging rumours she is expecting her first child after she was photographed in a bikini with an apparent baby bump while on a European vacation last week.

It seems as if everyone is expecting actress Eva Longoria-Parker to be expecting. The actress, however, is reportedly not pregnant.

Rumors started swirling on Monday, when the “Desperate Housewives” star was photographed shopping at N.Y.C.’s Ferragamo boutique. The actress, accompanied by her stylist Robert Verdi, was wearing a loose fitting sundress.

At one point it seemed a salesperson pointed to Eva’s belly, and the rumor mill began.

Verdi, however, is adamant that the actress is not pregnant. According to People.com, he said, “I’m not her gynecologist, but I am her stylist (…) I see her naked. I see her boobs! That’s the first place it would show, and it’s not showing!“

Verdi also clarified the shopping trip and the salesperson pointing at Eva’s stomach, saying it was all just a mistake.

“Eva was holding a handbag that she bought in the crook of her arm (…) The manager came over and said to her, ‘I love that bag.’ But in the photos, it looks like the woman is gesturing to her midsection. It’s too funny.“

Victoria Beckham is reportedly hoping that Eva Longoria-Parker’s cooking will help her get pregnant. The WAG, who was rumoured to have subsided on just edamame beans, seaweed protein shakes and strawberries during the Spice Girls reunion tour, is said to actually trying to gain rather than lose weight for once as she is worried her super-thin physique may be affecting her fertility.

A source close the Beckhams told the Daily Mail: “Victoria has been a lot less fastidious about her weight recently. She and David are desperate to conceive and she knows she needs to put on a bit of weight in order to do so. She’s bumping up on the calories.

“Eva is Victoria’s closest friend in Los Angeles and she and David have been round to Eva’s for dinner on many occasions. Eva is proud of her Mexican heritage and considers herself an excellent cook (…) Victoria is a vegetarian and she flipped out over Eva’s cheese enchiladas. They are made with home-made corn tortillas and are very tasty, but hardly low-calorie (…) Eva serves them with rice and refried beans. Each serving is two enchiladas and she told me she was amazed because Victoria always eats at least one.”

Eva Longoria and her new husband Tony Parker are reportedly expecting their first child together. Longoria sparked rumors that she is pregnant after she was spotted sporting a baby bump at the Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards on Monday night.

The ‘Desperate Housewives’ star has previously admitted that she and Parker do want to start a family saying, “Tony and I would love to have kids.”

A rep for Longoria refused to comment on the rumors. “We do not talk about clients’ personal lives,” the publicist said.
